Return to ashes of Devic monastery, April 16 2004
After almost a month of exile nuns of Devic convent returned to the ashes of theirdesecrated holy shrine. On March 17-18 Kosovo Albanian mob looted the monastery from which the French KFOR troops evacuated the nuns. Afterwards the monastery was set on fire and totally destroyed. These scenes show the ruins of the monastery as well as the nuns who began cleaning up of the rubble, a container in which they live now as well as the cemetery with their deceased sisters on which all crosses were smashed into peaces.
