EXODUS
THE PRESENCE OF 40.000 NATO TROOPS These scenes ARE NOT the scenes from the war but they occured after the arrival of the International Peace Forces to Kosovo and Metohija
Thousands
of Serb and Roma homes were set on fire and destroyed by ethnic June 20: The Metropoliten of Montenegro with two Orthodox priests on the funueral of three Kosovo Serbs slaughteren in Bijelo Polje village near Pec (North-west of Kosovo). These civilians were killed by the Kosovo Albanian extremists who cut their heads by an axe. These Orthodox clergy could perform a funeral only with the gurad of the Italian peacekeepers. The village of Bijelo Polje is completely destroyed by Albanians and almost all Serbs of this part of Kosovo have either been driven away or killed.
June 1999: Elderly Kosovo Serbs are usually targeted by the Albanian extremists. Many elderly people have been killed, or they starved confined in their flats (out of fear). Some have been just simply evicted from their homes and damped in the street like these two ladies in Urosevac - a city which has been completely purged from Serbs (US sector)
June 1999: Kosovo Serbs are systematically persecuted from their homes. More than 180.000 Serbs have been ethnically cleansed in the very presence of the NATO forces and UN
Paramilitary troops of Mr. Slobodan Milosevic destroyed almost 70% of Albanian homes. In the wave of systematic ethnic cleansing now launched by the KLA led Albanians not a single Serb home in the rural areas has remained. Everything Serbian is systematically destroyed.
Kosovo Serbs evicted from their homes helplessly try to find justice from the NATO soldiers. KFOR mission has generally failed to prevent the exodus of Kosovo Serbs because they allowed a delay in disarming of KLA and left the borders open for numerous gangs of robbers and narco-dealers who made Kosovo a most lawless region in Europe.
Prizren Orthodox Seminary has become a refuge for numerous Orthodox Serbs, Slav Moslems, Romas and other minorities who are now targeted by the Albanian extremists. Prizren is the city which suffered the least damage by the Milosevic forces. Nevertheless, almost all Serbs have been driven away from this city which used to be a capital of the Serbian Medieval State (with 300 churches in the 14th century). Not a single day passes that a Serb is not killed or several Serb or Roma houses set on fire. (German sector)
Prizren June 22: Instead of protecting the non-Albanian civilians from the uncontrolled revange and the KLA organized terror German peacekeepers left the border with neighboring Albania wide open for dozens of gangs of robbers and murderers. In fact ethnic cleansing of Prizren was completed largely due to general inefficiency of the German peacekeepers who allowed in the first days that KLA millitants take entire city under their rule.
Pristina July 2: Only two hours after signing the Statement on Peace and Tolerance KLA leader Hashim Thaci headed the mass rally in Pristina in which two monuments of the Serb writers Vuk Karadzic and Prince-Bishop Njegos were pulled down and damped in the trash. During the rally KLA led crowd trailed these monuments through the streets of Pristina in the very presence of thousands of NATO troops. The monuments have not been reinstalled until today. Furthermore, Albanian childeren destroyed them with hammers and metal sticks.
June 23 1999: A German KFOR tank is passing near a burning Serb house in Novake village near Prizren. This village has completely been destroyed by the Kosovo Albanian extremists. Again KFOR did nothing to prevent the complete destruction of this village.
