BELGRADE, Jan. 31, 2005 (BETA) - Kosovo Coordinating Center chief Nebojsa Covic sent on Jan. 31 a letter to UNMIK chief Soren Jessen-Petersen requesting the continuation of talks between Pristina and Belgrade this week.
A statement released by the government Coordinating Center for Kosovo said Covic suggested the reactivation of working groups for kidnapped and missing persons and energy as a way to restart the talks.
In the letter, Covic also requested an urgent meeting to determine concrete steps which would enable the rebuilding of monasteries and churches damaged in Kosovo.
