Pristina, January 31 JANAR 2005, (KosovoLive) - Kosovo government is ready for talks about the missing persons, declared yesterday the government spokesman, Arben Qirezi, and accused Belgrade for using this humanitarian issue for daily political needs:
"We have welcomed the meeting of Jessen-Petersen with the highest officials of the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) in Geneva, and we are interested to move forward with this process. Belgrade's stance has been obstructive by putting political conditions to the dialogue on this issue", said Qirezi.
Except in the initial meeting in Pristina less than a year ago, the matters referred to as the technical dialogue, such as the missing persons, energetic, transport and other matters have not been considered any more.
The Kosovo government, according to spokesman Qirezi, expects a greater pressure to restore the talks on this humanitarian issue.
