PRISTINA, Wednesday, February 23, 2005 (KosovaLive) - The opposition has rejected the proposal for creation of pilot municipalities and called the pilot project approved by Government yesterday as illegal and unlawful.
"PDK will not even participate there where illegal documents are made. It will never legitimate unlawful plans with its presence," an official of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Jakup Kraniqi reacted only several hours after the government approved the document yesterday.
He said that the document is completely illegal. "Creation of new municipalities is forbidden even by the Constitutional Framework and by Regulation 2000/45, and there is no any new legislation allowing creation of new municipalities," said Krasniqi.
