Samardzic: Belgrade Shall Not Accept Kosovo's Independence
TANJUG
February 23, 2005

Belgrade, 22 Feb (Tanjug) - There is no independence of Kosovo-Metohija without Belgrade's approval, and Belgrade shall not accept it in spite of the aggressive propaganda about this being the only solution, which is being spread with premeditation as of lately all over the country and abroad, adviser to the Serbian prime minister Slobodan Samardzic told Tanjug on Tuesday.

Commenting on claims that we should "get rid" of Kosovo, and "thus relieved" and "without that heavy burden" join Europe, Samardzic underscored ahead of his departure for Brussels, where he will attend a UN Security Council session, that all that represented nothing but "a spreading of political illusions" and "propaganda full of hot air" one should not believe in.
