Brussels, RTS Nov 29 - The EU High Representative Javier Solana has stated in Brussels that possible appointment of a person charged with crimes for the Kosovo Premier would make very difficult the implementation of standards and the possible beginning of the discussion on Kosovo status.

At a joint conference, Solana and NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer said that “one should see how the political development would unfold in Kosovo,” adding that he discussed the development in the province with UNMIK Head Sřren Jessen-Petersen and UNSG Kofi Annan. Scheffer said that “KFOR would play its role, this being to ensure safety.”
