Kostunica meets Kosovo Serb representatives (RTS), Nov 29
Belgrade - Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica had talks with Kosovo Serb representatives on the situation in Kosovo and further implementation of the state policy in the province. The meeting was attended by Oliver Ivanovic, Gojko Savic, Randjel Nojkic, Goran Bogdanovic and Dragisa Krstovic. Emphasis was laid on the importance of taking a unified stand of the state in international activities related to the providing of additional institutional guarantees for the Serb community in Kosovo. It was concluded that it is necessary to continue talks on decentralization based on the Serbian Government plan and that it is necessary that Belgrade should be directly involved in those talks, it was said in the statement.
Tadic meets representatives of Serb List (RTS), Nov 29
Belgrade - Serbian President Boris Tadic reiterated in talks with the representatives of the Serb List for Kosovo that pending the fulfillment of requirements set on the eve of the provincial elections in October, Serb AMs should not be joining the provisional Kosovo Assembly. At a meeting in Belgrade, agreement has been reached on the necessity of fulfilling the demand by President Tadic that, within three months after the formation of the provincial government, internationally recognized local Serb authorities should be established in regions where Serbs live, together with the police, judicature, healthcare and education.
