The night of Tuesday, July 15, 2003 at about 23:15 unknown
attackers threw a Molotov cocktail through the window into the house of
Srdjan Dajic in Gnjiilane. One room of the house was destroyed in the
fire. Since the members of the family, including the father, the mother,
three children and an elderly woman, were still awake, they quickly called
firefighters who localized the fire.
The few
Serbs remaining in Gnjilane are disturbed and fearful. An
investigation is in progress.
